“I originally stared working with Mel for personal Pilates sessions during the breaks in covid lockdowns and due to the success of those, I asked her to expand our brief to cover a more bespoke health & wellbeing plan covering; fitness, eating habits, weight loss, screen/media time and to create a more structured relaxation & sleeping programme for me.
Mel designed for me a very achievable coaching plan (followed up with calls and progress sessions) and I’m delighted to say, it really worked. The quality of my sleep has improved. My weight has gone down and I now eat ALOT better thanks to her excellent programme.

“Mel has been my Pilates coach for 4 years & she’s fabulous. So, when she added Health Coaching to her repertoire, I was eager to work with her. First and foremost, the program is well designed, organized & thorough. It includes personal & family health histories. the opportunity to be open about your issues & to reflect on what is stopping your ability to address them successfully. All of this is before beginning face-to-face sessions. Most important of all, is Mel’s approach. She is knowledgeable, sensitive & seriously motivated to help. She’s a top-notch listener and takes time to process information she’s given, then asks pertinent & probing questions. Her questions often lead to unexpected ideas for improvement in targeted areas (and beyond). All of this results in development of a detailed, goal-oriented plan. “My journey with Live Breathe Pilates Health started in September 2021 not long after I was told the breast cancer I had battled against 10 year previously had come back.  In order to feel healthier, control my weight and just generally feel better despite my treatment, Mel came up with a health coach program adapted to me. Mel is a great listener without being judgmental and will take into consideration our busy lives and the family dynamic.
The goals are set together and she makes sure they are not completely out of reach and discouraging. She comes up with lots of different practical solutions where I would have just given up if I had been on my own. Mel is very talented at just giving me a little nudge without making me feel guilty for not successfully reach the set goals. Her approach is very warm and human and whatever your situation, she will find a way to help you reach your health goals. Whenever I think I’ve not followed the plan as well as I ought to have done, Mel reminds me to look at the previous achievements and to be kind to myself. Her positive attitude is just priceless.”
